Kokomo Area Special Education Cooperative is hosting a meeting for Non-Public School Administrators and Parents/Guardians of Students with Disabilities who attend non-public schools, including those who are home schooled, for the following school districts:  Eastern, Maconaquah, Northwestern, Taylor, Tipton, Tri-Central and Western.

This meeting will be held on November 11 2019 at 9:00 am in the Western School Corporation Board Room, Door 8, 2600 South 600 West, Russiaville, IN 46979.

Taylor High School student delegates to Hoosier State have been selected.  They will spend a week in June at Trine University in Angola, where they will study Indiana government.  Besides seminars, they will participate in rallies and elections, learning hands-on..

*FCA will meet in the band room tomorrow at 7:25am. You do not have to play a sport to come for bible study, prayer, donuts, and fun!

*Since homecoming dress up days were cut short last week faculty and students should show their school spirit over the next three days with the following themes:
Thursday- Class Colors: Freshman-White, Sophomore-Blue, Juniors- Black, Seniors- Tie-Dye
Friday- Spirit Day or Cheer Block Theme

*Attention Junior and Seniors: I.U.K. will be on hand to answer any questions you might have this coming Thursday, February 27th during lunch time. Please stop by their table to introduce yourself.

*Any junior or senior interested in attending KACC next year should pick up an application from the counseling office. Classes are filling up get your application turned in ASAP.

*Congratulations to Rebecca Foesch, who was named last week as Howard County "Good Citizen" by the Daughters of the American Revolution." She was first picked as Taylor "Good Citizen" last fall.

*Lincoln Tech / Indianapolis Campus is having an Open House this Saturday, February 1st. They also have “Walk-in Wednesday” Every Wednesday in February from 10 am-7 pm, you will have the opportunity to tour our campus and explore the benefits of hands-on career training! Learn about Financial Aid for those who qualify and career placement assistance upon graduation and more! No appointment is necessary!

*Sellers Scholarship applications are now available in the counseling office.

*Students, listen up! Have you considered being a Page in the State Legislature? You spend a day helping one of the legislators on the floor of the General Assembly, where you can see laws being made. For information and possible extra credit, see your Social Studies teacher or the Guidance Office. This is an excused absence please see the High school office for the prearranged absence slip.
